Leg Cramps!

Yikes! I have been waking up over the past few weeks with cramps in my calves. To remedy I have been eating bananasm, more than I would ever desire to eat...for me, bananas have to be the perfect ripeness, not brown, not green, but the perfect shade of yellow. Hard to find in a crunch, when I feel a leg cramp coming on.

We got our bedding for the nursery - totally took Jilly's idea and bought pieces from the Land of Nod, from the "O What a Beautiful Morning" set. I thought it would go well with our bird/nature theme room. The nursery is no where close to being a nursery yet.

Yes, emotions running high. The other night I cried, no sobbed, uncontrollably for about 20 minutes in bed because I felt like we were an "island" in Chicago, with no friends, no family, no community and I got scared about being a mom and being alone. Irrational, yes. But, it has gotten us thinking a lot more about being closer to family, as our family grows....

Belly is still not very big. I am still wearing my regular clothes, they are a bit snugger but I haven't had to whip out the old rubber bad trick or use the belly band. I will definitley hit up Target for maternity clothes, when the time comes. What about bras and nursing bras?? Where are you guys going to get those from?

Crib, stroller, car seat - what brands and styles did you guys go with? There are so many options, I don't even know where to start. I am tempted to get that stroller base, that is compatable with a bunch of different car seats to use for our first stroller...

Love you girls and keep the posts coming :)

The Wonderful World of Being Prego

Hey Friends!

Since we are all in the stage of life right now (so exciting!) where elastic waistbands make up the majority of our wardrobes, the first thing we think about is "when can I take a nap" and the changes happening in our bodies are beyond comprehension - I thought it would be so fun and helpful to share how are pregnancies are going! I can't believe we are all pregnant at the same time! Having girlfriends is amazing, and then having girlfriends who are going through the same thing, at the same time is even more incredible!
So, feel free to post anything and everything - from questions, to answers, to weird off-the-wall symptoms or things that you experienced that the rest of us might find helpful. I want to hear all about it and I know that I will appreciate and value your insight and experience so far! And, this will hopefully give us something to look back and laugh on too :)
Love you girls!
